Brendan is the owner and founder of Mass Bay Spine & Sport Physical Therapy, Inc. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with emphasis in Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire in 1996. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy at Notre Dame College, and in 2013, he completed his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy at the EIM Institute. With over 15 years of experience and advanced training in manual techniques from the Institute of Orthopedic and Manual Therapy in Winchester, MA. Brendan utilizes an active therapy approach that incorporates hands-on techniques, carefully graded exercises, and patient feedback to maximize patient outcomes and minimize recovery time. Brendan is the Director of Rehabilitation at MBSSPT.
Patricia Simms, PT, NDT
Patricia joined the MBSSPT team in May of 2008. Patti is a 1990 graduate of Northeastern University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Earlier in her career, Patti worked for several years in short and long term rehabilitation settings where her caseload primarily consisted of patients with traumatic brain injuries and other involved neurologic disorders. For the past several years she has worked in the outpatient setting gaining valuable experience in orthopedic related conditions. She is a long time Marshfield resident where she lives with her husband and 4 boys.
Kerin Murphy, PT, DPT
Kerin attended Ithaca College where she earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2013. Before joining the Mass Bay Spine and Sport staff she gained physical therapy experience in subacute rehabilitation, oncology inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic rehab. Kerin is excited to start her career at Mass Bay Spine and Sport and strives to provide effective and compassionate patient care.
Regina Santilli, PT, DPT
Regina is a graduate of Northeastern University where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. She became part of the MBSS team after completing her final clinical rotation there prior to her graduation from NEU. Regina is a native of New York, and has since decided to make the Boston area her home. She is excited to begin her career at Mass Bay Spine and Sport and advance her special interest in orthopedic rehabilitation.
Courtney Parisot, PT, DPT
Courtney originally graduated from Norwich University in 2013 where she received a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Health Science with a concentration in sports medicine. At Norwich she was a member of the women’s ice hockey and soccer teams. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Northeastern University in 2017. She is thrilled to become a member of the Mass Bay Spine and Sport Team.
Joel Willbrant, PT, DPT
Joel is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Before joining Mass Bay Spine & Sport he worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy. He has experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses and age populations. He enjoys creating individualized treatment plans to facilitate transition back to daily activities and sports following injury.
Lauren Plourde, ATC
Athletic Trainer, Certified
Lauren is a 2013 graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she received a Bachelor of Science degree and majored in Athletic Training. Lauren joins MBSSPT as a Certified Athletic Trainer to work and expand the Medical Gym and Wellness Center. She is always finding ways to advance her knowledge and plans on getting her CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) Certification.
APhysical Therapy Aide
Kaitlyn graduated from Coastal Carolina Univeristy in August of 2017 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise and sports science. Kaitlyn is new to the field and excited to gain hands on experience at MBSSPT.
Anne Clawson, Medical Billing & Claims Specialist
Anne joined the MBSSPT team in 2014 as our new office manager. Anne brings her expertise and many years of knowledge regarding various insurances, obtaining insurance verifications, and educating patients and staff in insurance benefits. Anne’s administrative and organizational skills are an asset and positive contribution to our operations at MBSSPT. Anne lives locally with her husband and 2 young sons.
